Written September 09, posted late as obviously my head wasn’t screwed on at the time!!!!

Well as you might have guessed our new arrival decided to make HIS entrance to the world on Tuesday 25th August at 4pm in the John Radcliffe.

The start to our labour wasn’t great and after a very slow early labour (2.5 days to be precise) the delivery was quick as a flash-3.5 hours. Glad it was this way round rather than the other. We also managed to come home the same night and thanks to the incredible efforts of Dave and my mum I look back fondly on the whole experience.

Our little boy Joseph is just perfect. Although you may question that when he won’t sleep at night. Given he is just over 2 weeks old we shouldn’t really complain. Just never really understood how difficult it would be.

Dave has been truely fantastic and is a real natural. We both feel so overwhelmed we don’t know what we should be doing half the time but no doubt we’ll get there.
